Debt Collections Team Leader

**We are seeking to recruit an experienced leader having previously worked for SOFOM, loan-lenders, credit providers or debt collection agencies in Mexico. **You will be working alongside our growing team of agents to ensure that customer debt is accurately captured, managed and recovered according to industry best practice.**Key Deliverables**- Working closely with HQ in establishing annual targets and ensuring the delivery of KPIs.- Create a proactive system to manage customer repayment plans, constantly seeking to improve on the services offered.- Team management of telephone/online based debt collection agents, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations.- Provide guidance to the team on established industry best practice - always ensuring that legal and regulatory requirements for debt recovery are followed.- Recruiting and training new agents.**Essential Requirements**- A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a manager/leader for a Short-term loan or debt collection agency in Mexico.- A proven track record in successfully developing a team of debt collection agents.- Start-up or scale-up experience.- **Fluent and clear spoken English.****Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent**Salary**: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Ciudad de México: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Experience**:- Team management (Over 10 people): 2 years (required)- SOFOM: 2 years (required)**Language**:- Fluent English (required)Work Location: In person
