Manager, Sourcing

At STERIS, we help our Customers create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science product and service solutions around the globe.**Position Summary**:Ensures a continuous Supply source for Plan needs by identifying new Suppliers partnerships and developing them.Ensures that the Sourcing department meets its Yearly Plan by scheduling Projects, planning, executing, directing activities as well as to keep both Plant Purchasing and Corporate Sourcing teams aware of the progress.Lead Plant Sourcing resources, resolving priorities, evaluating and mitigating risk in terms of potential production stoppages due to Supplier’s Supply chain.Responsible for analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.**Duties**:- Conduct negotiations and issue contracts/agreement in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations within the guidelines of STERIS GSCM’s Policies and Procedures.- Lead and/or organize all necessary supplier audits including commercial, financial, and technical to ensure that STERIS maintains and continues to develop a robust and capable supply base.- Evaluates Sales demand and identifies potential oportunities with Purchasing.- Liason with Purchasing department to organize, communicate and ensure Vendors Capacity coverage.- Liason with Quality and Engineering to meet part requirements.- Organizes and lead risks identification on time, to generate and implement countermeasures.- Communicate to Master Planning team about risks and Sales delivery dates.- Evaluates and executes decisions to increase, decrease agreements with Suppliers in conjunction with Purchasing and Corporate Sourcing.- Coordinates, directs and initiates projects to improve efficiency, accuracy in terms of Suppliers delivery.- Supervises and directs all administrative functions pertaining to assigned departments.- Liaison between Purchasing and information systems.- Support all Company Quality Policies including ISO 9001, EN46001, MDD, FDA, Safety Regulations and ASME codes.**Education Degree**:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General or Other**Required Experience**:- At least ten (10) years of experience in Supply Chain roles such as Production Control, Materials Flow, Procurement and Sourcing.- A minimum of three (3) years of Sourcing Manager or Procurement Manager experience.- Demonstrated knowledge of material procurement, planning and other production control systems.- Demonstrated technical knowledge related to area of responsibility.- Proven work experience as a Sourcing Manager or Procurement Manager- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management and relevant software- Strong project management and leadership skills- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships- Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions- BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration- Excellent organizational, communication, team building, coaching, and decision-making skills.- Effective interpersonal and influence management skills to interact with cross-functional team members.- Nature of Problem Solving- Empowerment and Decision-Making Environment- Other determinations or decisions within the parameters of the position.- Bilingual.STERIS is a leading provider of products and services that meet the needs of growth areas within Healthcare: procedures, devices, vaccines and biologics.
