**What Will You Do?**The main purpose of the Industrial Engineer is to work to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, person-hours, machine time, energy and other resources that do not generate value.**Responsibilities**:- Develop, status, and analyze Manufacturing Master Schedules in sufficient detail to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner.- Optimize sequence of operations and work flow.- Create crew plans to ensure resources are properly allocated and utilized effectively.- Create metrics to monitor schedule progress and help identify risk areas.- Work to improve efficiencies through waste elimination and process improvements.- Perform data analysis to establish shop metrics and tackle complex problems.- Provide Technical support and assistance to manufacturing and maintenance team members, production supervisors and production associates**Work Appropriately**- On Site: This position requires to work on site on a full-time basis.**Preferred knowledge**:- Education: Industrial, Mechatronics or Systems engineering.- Intermediate EnglishIn case you need any reasonable adjustment to continue with your process, let your recruiter know.**About GM**Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all.**Why Join Us**We believe we all must make a choice every day - individually and collectively - to drive meaningful change through our words, our deeds and our culture.
