About the Role This role focuses on supporting and improving SAP CO Product Costing processes within an S / 4HANA environment. The consultant will handle configuration, testing, and coordination with business and technical teams to ensure that product cost estimates, actual costs, and cost flows are accurate and fully aligned with company standards. Essential job functions Configure and maintain Product Costing areas such as Product Cost Planning, Cost Object Controlling, and Material Ledger / Actual Costing. Work on standard cost estimates, cost roll-ups, and actual costing runs (CKMLCP). Set up costing variants, overhead keys, cost component splits, and valuation strategies. Analyze production variances and support month‑end activities like WIP, order settlements, and variance calculations. Collaborate with Finance, Production, and Supply Chain teams to ensure cost data is consistent and integrated across FI, MM, and PP. Prepare documentation and provide guidance to users during testing or go‑live phases. Basic qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred. 4+ years of experience in SAP CO, mainly Product Costing and Material Ledger. Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, material valuation, and variance analysis. Hands‑on experience in SAP S / 4HANA, including the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and Fiori applications for Product Costing and Actual Costing. Solid knowledge of integration between CO, FI, SD, MM, and PP modules. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively with finance and operations teams. Excellent communication skills and experience leading projects. Other qualifications Experience with multi‑currency or parallel valuation environments. Background in manufacturing or consulting projects. Exposure to SAP BRIM is a plus.
