**Operations Supervisor**As Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in Aptiv's in this new project. Managing all processes and tests (Quality, Safety, Productivity)**Your Role**- Supervise a employees' group involved in production operations at the plant- Responsible for the effective use of resources ( personnel, material and equipment)- Control employees absenteeism and punctuality- Maintain daily personnel communication about results, progress and goals of the department (obtain feedback)- Prevent inventory build-up, know the production schedule, and maintain quality requirements.- Participate in the implementation of corrective actions for problems and defects in the lines.- Ensure that the procedures established in the assembly and handling of the product are carried out.- Develop innovative solutions and new approaches to engineering problems to determine the sequence of steps or processes required to fabricate and assemble products that meet the organization’s standards of quality and cost- Analyze Equipment's problems with the Engineering team- Besides the above mentioned tasks, job owner is bound to perform other duties that by nature belong in his area of responsibility and/or are caused by necessary business reasons.**Your Background**- Industrial/Mechatronics degree or similar- Fluent Business English speaking- Experience in automotive industry or clean rooms- Personnel Management, master planning and production systems experience- Knowledge of Basic Quality Systems and Lean Manufacturing Production systems- Communication and interpersonal abilities- An analytical skill- Strong organizational and planning skills- Microsoft Office strong knowledge- Schedule availability**Aptiv Rewards & Advantages**Recognition for innovation and excellence, Opportunities to give back to the community, Meaningful work that makes a difference in the world.**Some see differences.
