Responsible to support new business opportunities. The New Product buyer will work closely with New Product Development and Business Unit groups with reliable ‘budget’ and cost and delivery proposals from established, approved supply chain sources. Where sources still undefined, will work with the supplier development engineer in order to provide options. Will also get involve through initial production into full production to ensure that suppliers perform as promised and to meet business/customer need..**Requirements**:- Bachelor degree on engineering discipline- 6+ years as Direct material buyer in a manufacturing company- Experience of at least 4 years in a manufacturing support role- Able to read engineering drawings, familiar with engineering tolerances, materials specifications etc.- Excellent communicator, evidence of gaining demonstrated commitment from suppliers to tough delivery and quality requirements.- Analytical mindset to evaluate RFQs from a commercial aspect.- Experience with metals and polymer related primary processes- Experience in fast moving customer driven purchasing environment- Computer literate, Integrated business systems experience, excel spreadsheets use, access database set up and use.- ERP experience in SAP- Proven time management and multi-tasking skills- Experience with ISO/TS 16949.- Fully Bilingual- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal/external contacts- Wiling to travel to US (Visa)**Salary**: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per monthWork Location: One location
