Logistics GeneralLibramiento Noreste Km 33.5, General Escobedo, NL 66052NL100 Distribution CenterFull-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:30am - 5:30pmOVERVIEW:Working as Full-time Logistics General, you will be working directly with Fastenal's suppliers, branches, fleet, and distribution centers on a variety of transportation matters related to supply chain- excellent customer service is a top priority.RESPONSIBILITIES:The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:- Scheduling transport for the Fastenal fleet at a National/International level- Serving as an analyst for the intra-company help desk- Assisting the Logistics Team in daily operationsREQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite- Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment- Work independently as well as in a team environment- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamworkPREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:- Prior customer service experienceABOUT US:Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with approximately 3,200 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
