Pricing Analyst Guadalajara

**JOB SUMMARY**:Responsible for evaluating and recommending rate levels and pricing alternatives in relation to territory and company goals and objectives.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**: _(These are core competencies required for the position)_- Responsible for analyzing and recommending rates and pricing alternatives in relation to territory and regional goals and objectives- Perform pricing functions including answering customer inquiries, checking rate inquiries, monitoring rates and lane averages, processing Pre-audit loads, and review pricing agreements- Assist with monitoring the integrity of the Cost System and Rate Proposal System- Gather pricing and cost information and analyze the various lanes to determine the costConduct necessary research to find pertinent information such as length of haul, average cost per mile, lane average, lane mode, origin and destination load balance, commodity, freight value, and recommend favorable pricing actions- Create new or update existing customer profiles- Receive and log incoming bid requests from customers and gather necessary information- Facilitate the evaluation of the service requirements, lane appeal, accessorial charges, applicable fuel surcharge and mileage determination- Continuously monitor the status of all open bids and coordinate the completion of all components, including pricing, capacity requirements, carrier profile, verbiage, etc.- Evaluate and assist with the training of Sales, Operations and Revenue Management personnel as it relates to understanding pricing levels and activities- Maintain Bid Log with bid status information as well as individual bid files for tracking purposes- Performs other related duties as assigned**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & KEY COMPETENCIES**:- Minimum two (2) years of related work experience- Relevant education may partially substitute for years of experience- Proven skill in oral and written communications, with the ability to prepare and deliver concise, understandable reports and presentations- Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously- Must have good organizational skills- Proven analytical skills**KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & KEY COMPETENCIES**:- Minimum two (2) years of related work experience- Relevant education may partially substitute for years of experience- Proven skill in oral and written communications, with the ability to prepare and deliver concise, understandable reports and presentations- Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously- Must have good organizational skills- Proven analytical skills**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:- **Physical Demands**: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear.
