Important american company leader in providing display merchandisers, refrigeration systems, installation and services, is looking for:**Supplier Quality Engineer**Position Summary: Lead supplier on Site Assessments and action planning/follow up prior to source selection. Lead supplier training and development activities. Define and document PPAP (Production part approval process) for new purchased components and major changes to existing components for commodities and/or product development programs as assigned. Identify and lead projects to drive the external failure rates and internal defect rates down for assigned components.- Position Responsibilities:_- Supporting supplier sourcing team in the evaluation and selection and approval of suppliers through the- Communicate company quality, deliver & service expectations to suppliers and partnering effectively with them to develop quality systems, processes and controls to fulfill these expectations.- Representing the organization as the primary supplier liaison on component quality issues, ensuring supplier corrective actions are technically thorough, timely and effective (SCARs).- Monitoring, analyzing and identifying trends from supplier quality and performance data, developing proactive measure to continually improve performance.- Supporting component development specifications, quality acceptance standards.- Cost recovery efforts. Must work closely with supply chain organization and strategic sourcing teams in this effort.- Support in the execution of on-site assessment, assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and health and safety risks.- Required Skills:_- Bachelor's degree- 3 years of experience as SQE and/or in similar role- Excellent communication skills- Must have the ability to self-managed when working in a virtual/remote team.- Ability to work with +50 suppliers.- Ability to deliver assignments in a dynamic environment.- Advanced conversational English- Must be able to travel 10% of the timeLocation: Municipio de Ciénega de Flores, Nuevo LeónTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: Hasta $38,000.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasPrestaciones:- Caja de ahorro- Seguro de gastos médicos- Seguro dental- Seguro de vida- Servicio de comedor- Vales de despensaTipos de compensaciones:- Bono anualEducación:- Licenciatura terminada (Obligatorio)Idioma:- Inglés avanzado (Obligatorio)Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial- Health insurance
