Involvement in records control, detailing, and assisting other technical personnel in a support role is a continuing part of this assignment.May be assigned specific assignments or work in more than one area based on need and experience needed to complete the assignment. Factory layout detailing, records control of items such as tooling, inventory, etc. and other similar duties to support technical personnel will be performed in this classification.**BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:- ECN/NPI Implementation Coordinator- ECN/NPI Analysis- ECN/NPI Implementation- ECN/NPI Incurred Cost Analysis- ECN/NPI Tracking Matrix- ECN/NPI Weekly Meeting Follow-up- ECN/NPI Evidence Collector- Support NPI/PPAP Process Introduction- Collaborate on CPPD meetings- Collaborate on Any Departmental Requirement/Activity**BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE**:- Availability of Working Hours- College or University Degree in Engineering- Minimum of 1 Year of Relevant Work Experience on Engineering Changes & PPAP Process- BOM Structure Basic- Labor and Routings Knowledge- SAP system Intermediate User- MS Office Intermediate User- ECN Analysis and Implementation Intermediate Skills- Metal Mechanic/Internal Manufacturing Process Basic Skills- PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan Process Basic Skills- Basic knowledge of Welding/Assembly Drawings Interpretation- Intermediate communications skills, both written and oral- Ability to work with diverse teams of employees and customers- Conversational English.**All qualified individuals, including women, are encouraged to apply**Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
