Datacenter at Scale Validation Lead

The person in this role will own the coordination and management of system level validation activities for at scale cluster validation within Intel Data Center systems. The role requires broad understanding of multiple datacenter and software disciplines. The job will demand interaction with multiple teams to improve product test quality, while leading the at scale platform validation teams sync and status.This role in specific will drive a Platform Validation Steering Team (PVST) to drive focus in engineering pathfinding, driving execution velocity as the main premise, ensuring the server platforms meet our customer quality expectations. You will be a member of the platform validation in charge of the validation strategy, testing and capacity planning, execution, and reporting. You will make recommendations to the business on release readiness.**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:- Leading validation efforts across multiple system level teams and stakeholders.- Planning and driving validation activities within the at scale team, such as defining/reviewing test plans, requirements coverage, test execution cycles, demands and resources required to gain confidence in the quality of the products being validated.- Be the voice of the platform testing coverage and quality release criteria metrics and grading.- Coordinate with infrastructure teams to establish required capabilities and HW demands.- Participating in Product planning and release meetings providing input and decisions.- Engaging with various internal cross-team validation organizations representing at scale team from a program management perspective.- Define and administrate cluster nodes allocation and fleet management.- Planning, developing, and executing Systems Engineering Best Practices.- Be a role model for the organization and junior engineers.- Logical solving problem skills.- Team work.- Participation and creation on a good working environment.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications**:- 4+ years of experience in program management in either of the following areas: Cloud Systems validation, Cloud solutions, or data center silicon or platform validation.- 3+ years of experience at system level validation.- 2+ years of product life cycle and quality release criteria experience.- Advanced English level.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Experience in one or more technical domains: telemetry, orchestration, data analysis, network, RAS (Reliability, Accessibility, Serviceability), power management.- Experience in the cloud service providers business model, including some of their orchestration capabilities (e.g.: Kubernetes, Docker Container, Jenkins, or related cloud system deployment software).- Experience with server and/or infrastructure test frameworks in validation environments.**Inside this Business Group**The Data Platforms Engineering and Architecture (DPEA) Group invents, designs & builds the world's most critical computing platforms which fuel Intel's most important business and solve the world's most fundamental problems.
