**Req ID**: We are currently seeking a Manual QA to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).- Job Duties / Requirements:- Experience in writing complex SQL queries, ability to determine the types of testing that must be conducted (i.e., data validation, regression, etc.), including evaluating the testability of requirements and create a comprehensive test plan that supports the business and technological solutions being delivered.- Should have experience testing multiple test phases in medium to large projects.- Should have adequate experience and clear understanding of data warehouse and data mart testing.- Identification and Test Data Preparation Techniques.- Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle etc. Proficiency with Test Case Preparation and Execution.- Extensive exposure to Back-end/ETL Testing with high-level of SQL skills is required.- Should have exposure to large data sets and understand Data Quality Framework.- Defect tracking experience (i.e. Jira, Bugzilla, etc)- Experience in tuning SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, etc for performance improvements- Lead QA team on overall testing activities, approaches, and strategies- Establish, maintain, and oversee all aspects of QA processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness and alignment to industry best practices- Prepare, review, and maintain testing documents (test plan, test cases, test reports,) to ensure complete test coverage- Manage risks and deliverables to ensure that the testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards- Must have the ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes while maintaining urgency in completing assigned tasks.- Should be detail oriented with analytical mind set.- Soft Skills:- Good communication skills with a confident personality so that can gather requirement from onsite team as well as demonstrate the output to other scrum teams.- Ability to communicate well to both technical and non-technical staff.- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, able to handle challenging situations and act appropriately.- Excellent learning skills, must learn and also guide other team members on their knowledge.- Should be a self-starter; takes responsibility and ownership and is self-driven.- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision as well as ability to work within a team- Good team player; commitment to high-quality output and service.- Basic Qualifications:- 5 plus years- QA Manual and Automation Testing- 5 plus years of experience creating test plans and scenarios.- 5 plus years of experience writing and executing SQL queries**About NTT DATA Services****NTT DATA Services is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants without regarding to race, color, religion, citizenship, national origin, ancestry, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, physical or mental disability, veteran or marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
