Individualmente somos talentosos, pero juntos somos imparables.**Job Summary**:**Main Functions**:- Design, model and test mixed-signal processor-based electronics- Design and source PCBs; specify and source electronic components; specify and manage firmware- Develop new lighting controls products from concept to manufacture.- Simulate control/luminaire device performance in relevant software tools.- Interfacing with entities inside and outside of Acuity- Provide technical recommendations to the engineering and luminaire teams during technical reviews**Required experience and Knowledge**:- 2+ years relevant experience plus the education listed below- less experience accepted with higher education- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or equivalent. (Master's Degree preferred)- Hardware design of wireless products- Experience with simulation and modeling tools (Ansys (preferred), Hyperlynx, Sonnet, etc.)- Experience with schematic capture tools (Altium (preferred), Mentor Graphics, Eagle, etc.)- Experience with testing tools and equipment: oscilloscopes and network and spectrum analyzers, etc.- Experience with failure analysis and troubleshooting (oscillation detection and mitigation)- Able to work independently and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication skillsIluminamos el camino a un mundo Brillante, Productivo y Conectado.
