Senior Medical Underwriter, 2852 Apply for the Senior Medical Underwriter, 2852 role at Hannover Re. Responsibilities Ensure the correct risk assessment in order to determine if the risk is insurable. Ensure that all underwriting decisions are submitted to and authorized by the head office, in accordance with established policies. Provide underwriting advice and consultations to ceding companies. Design, update, and deliver courses related to insurance, reinsurance, and underwriting topics. Analyze and assess Personal Accident insurance policies. Generate, review, and deliver statistical reports related to productivity, number of assessments performed, etc. Train ceding companies on the Hannover´s tools. Qualifications Medical’s degree Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Underwriting Familiarity with regional market dynamics, client needs, and regulatory environments Proficiency in underwriting tools and Microsoft Office Willingness to travel for client and internal meetings, as required Effective negotiation and communication skills.
