HARDWARE ENGINEER ALSO PROVIDES TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO THE CUSTOMER AND PRODUCTION PLANTS ON TROUBLESHOOTING, DIAGNOSE AND TECHNICAL DECISIONS RELATED TO THE PRODUCT.**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:- UPDATE ELECTRICAL DESIGN TO KEEP IT MANUFACTURABLE- SPECIFY ELECTRICAL VERIFICATION AND QUALIFICATION FOR PRODUCTS- SUPPORT PRODUCT QUALIFICATION DURING ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TESTS- UPDATE AND RELEASE ELECTRICAL SERIES PRODUCTION DESIGN- UPDATE ELECTRICAL DESIGN AND PERFORM DESIGN REVIEWS- VERIFY ELECTRICAL DESIGN- SUPPORT SOURCING FOR ELECTRICAL COMPONENTSADDITIONAL SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES- CREATE/UPDATE WORST CASE ANALYSIS OF THE ELECTRICAL DESIGN- PROVIDE RESULTS OF THE ANALYSIS TO THE HARDWARE LEADERS AND CUSTOMER- ANALYZE, DIAGNOSE AND REPORT WARRANTY CUSTOMER RETURNS- DRIVE ACTIVITIES FOR SPECIFIC TECHNICAL TOPICS ACROSS DISCIPLINES- PARTICIPATE IN EFFICIENCY STRATEGIESJOB REQUIREMENTS:- ELECTRONICS BACHELOR’S DEGREE OR SIMILAR- STRONG KNOWLEDGE ON ANALOG AND POWER ELECTRONICS- USE OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT SUCH AS OSCILLOSCOPE, DMM, VOLTAGE AND CURRENT PROBES, WFG, ETC.- ENGLISH: INTERMEDIATE (ADVANCED DESIRED)OPTIONAL:- CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS/COMPREHENSION- EXPERIENCE AS HARDWARE ENGINEER (DESIGN OR PRODUCT MAINTENANCE)- ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT SIMULATIONS(TRANSIENTS, TIME DOMAIN, FREQUENCY DOMAIN, MONTE CARLO, WCA)- EXPERIENCE ON AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS- ELECTRICAL HARDWARE VALIDATION/VERIFICATION EXPERIENCE**Working Time**: Full time**Business Unit**: VT Engineering**Department**: VT E CT AEE PE 2**Your Contact Partner**: TANIA ARACELI PALOSVitesco Technologies is a leading international developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art powertrain technologies for sustainable mobility.
