**The Role**: Analyst, Product Management & Development - Market Reporting & Trading Solutions**The Location**: Mexico City, Mexico**The Team**: This role sits in the S&P Global Commodity Insights Market Reporting & Trading Solutions (MRTS) Product Management organization and reports into the Associate Director for Refined Products and Cross-Commodity Capabilities. The role works closely with internal stakeholders to support and manage the product development pipeline and ensures delivery of products that meet customer needs and aligns with business strategy.**The Impact**: The solution for the Commodity Insights MRTS product portfolio includes pricing, forward curves, and news. The Analyst for Product Management and Development will play a substantial role in developing a coherent product offering around these features, delivering it to clients (go-to-market), and driving revenue growth.**What’s in it for you**:This position provides the opportunity to play an important operational role within S&P Global Commodity Insights, by helping manage the product development backlog for the largest business line and portfolio both by size and share of revenueWorking within the Product Management organization is a great opportunity to engage with and gain exposure to all areas of the business, liaising with cross-functional team members, and global teams on a daily basis.**Responsibilities**: The Product Management & Development Analyst’s main responsibility will be to manage the development backlog and execute the roadmap for the Refined Products portfolio and cross-commodity capabilities including News and Market Data; with a special focus on digital content platforms and Machine-to-Machine delivery mechanisms. Ultimately driving revenue by meeting the needs of current customers, displacing competitors, penetrating new markets, solving new problems, or selling to new client bases. This role will work closely with partners in technology and project management to identify, prevent, and remove blockers, and guarantee delivery on time and on specifications of all our projects. Specific responsibilities include:Support the team’s Associate Directors in managing the development roadmap for content platforms and ensure content and capabilities are delivered to market on timeDevelop strong working relationships with development teams and internal stakeholders to maximize productivity throughout the development processAssist the Product team in business-as-usual processes, daily operations, and ongoing product maintenance, including tasks related to product entitlements and packaging, distribution, go-to-market activities, collecting business intelligence metrics, and compiling and analyzing customer feedbackCreate, maintain, and prioritize a product backlog according to business value or ROI, and ensure development teams execute against said backlog based on priorities and business requirementsAttend regular scrum meetings, take the appropriate actions to drive delivery, and report on project status using internal project management toolsSupport production releases and regularly communicate product enhancements by updating internal and client-facing product release notes**What We’re Looking For**: Being held accountable for execution, tangible deliverables and measurable success are common in your past. You can demonstrate experience of successful delivery - within scope, on time, and on budget.**Qualifications**:Experience as a product manager or product owner, preferably at a commodity information or financial technology companyExperience developing software following Agile Scrum practicesProficient in the use of project management tools and reporting processesProven track record of managing product backlogs and coordinating resources to execute against these backlogs incrementally and sustainablyProficient technical literacy with real-time digital content platforms and toolsetsGood data analysis skills combined with an inquisitive mindset to identify patterns, trends, and causesAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, and have strong presentation skillsCommercial mindset, with the ability to work with many stakeholders and take product from idea to realityAbility to independently manage workload in a fast paced, goal oriented, dynamic, and global environment**Grade/Level**: 9**About Company Statement**:S&P Global delivers essential intelligence that powers decision making.
