And we DO celebrate, because if you don’t have fun along the way, then what’s the point?**About the Job**:As a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be part of a Global team responsible for ensuring deployments of NetSuite Application are On-Time and of High-Quality for our customers. This person must be a problem solver, results oriented, capable of troubleshooting and debugging complex problems, able to quickly diagnose problems in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are as important as strong technical skills. This person should be highly motivated and be ready to work in a highly-collaborative, team-oriented environment.**Responsibilities**:- Be part of a global team responsible for ensuring NetSuite deployments are stable and risk-free for our customers.- Build tools and processes to streamline Continuous Delivery pipeline.- Co-ordinate continuous improvement initiatives with cross functional stakeholders.- Design innovative solutions to complex problems.- Automate existing manual workflows to validate schema changes across all NetSuite products and across geographically dispersed datacenters.- Troubleshoot functional and performance issues encountered during deployments to Databases.- Train and guide resources as needed.**Requirements**:- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.- 5+ years of professional experience working in large-scale production environment.- Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell scripting, Python or a similar high-level programming language.- Familiarity with SDLC and with CI/CD methodologies.- Basic knowledge of Databases, SQL language- Hands on experience using source control system like Git, BitBucket- Atlassian Jira, Confluence knowledge a plus.- A passion for automation and continuous improvements.- Self-starter, with a strong desire to learn quickly in a fast-paced, agile team environment.- Expert problem solver and multi-tasker who can produce quality work on tight schedules.- Team player, who can work independently when needed.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
