A Financial Accountant is a critical role within an organization, responsible for overseeing payroll processes, managing financial resources, and ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of employee compensation. This role requires a deep understanding of financial management, compliance with regulations, and effective payroll administration.- **Key Responsibilities**:_**Payroll Management**:- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including calculation, distribution, andreporting.- Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and benefits.- Verify timekeeping, attendance, and deductions, and address discrepancies.**Tax Compliance**:- Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements related to payroll.- Prepare and submit payroll taxes and reports to relevant authorities.- Address employee queries regarding tax deductions.**Financial Resource Management**:- Manage the organization's financial resources, including budgeting andforecasting.- Monitor and control expenses and financial transactions.- Contribute to financial planning and cost-saving strategies.**Employee Benefits Administration**:- Administer employee benefits programs.- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and address inquiries.- Collaborate with benefits providers to ensure seamless service.**Reporting and Analysis**:- Generate payroll and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.- Analyze financial data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.- Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.**Compliance and Auditing**:- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment standards, and financial regulations.- Prepare for and support financial audits and provide required documentation.**Communication and Employee Support**:- Communicate payroll-related information to employees, including pay stubs, tax forms, and changes in payroll procedures.- Address employee inquiries and concerns related to compensation and benefits.**Process Improvement**:- Identify opportunities for streamlining and automating payroll and financial processes.- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.- **Qualifications and Skills**:_- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.- Proven experience in payroll administration and financial management.- Knowledge of tax regulations, labor laws, and financial reporting standards.- Familiarity with payroll software and financial management tools.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial calculations.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.- Adaptability and ability to work under pressure, especially during payroll processingperiods.Pay: $20,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month**Experience**:- Payroll: 1 year (required)**Language**:- English (required)
