Your tasks- Supervise the construction of buildings and installation / commissioning of equipment as required.- Initiate and promote project elements that support the corporate initiatives- Monitors engineering aspects of equipment start-ups; ensures project start-up plans and required documentation are completed and coordinated with current / future Operations and Maintenance Department personnel.- Assure that both safety and regulatory requirements are complied with for the state / province and country where the project is in. If there are deviations found that they are to be communicated and dealt with effectively.- Defines Execution project charter and project targets (financial, scheduling and scope); values taken over from respective departments- Team member creation in conjunction with the Plants, BU's and Central departments- Steering committee set-up. Establishes an adequate project base (meetings and cadence, information/ knowledge exchange, documentation, archiving).- Helps build up a supportive culture of cooperation and teamwork within the project- Tailors optional activities according to the projects needs and ensure compliance to the processes.- Develops and maintains the Execution Plan in accordance with the valid processes (phases, deliverables, gates, etc.) throughout life of project. Achieving the agreed operations objectives.- Perform Risk Management activities, control and steer the implementation of risk items**Profile**:- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering.)- Professional Engineer status / license.- Project Management background (projects larger than $1,000,000)- Skills in Auto CAD, Statistical Process Control, Control Systems- Minimum of 5 years Project Management experience required, 10+ years preferred- Experience in working with international teams on purchasing topics and understanding of foreign culturesMust be able to work well with plant-based personnel, both technical and non-technical- Has directed work crews.- Factory Planning process- Understand Key financial indicators at BU / Product level (EBIT, Gross Margin)- Construction and tendering process- Quality Knowledge- Customer Management- Risk Management- Change Management and Problem Resolution Management**Offer**:Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
