We value work-life balance, talent-oriented career development, and seek team players with a genuine passion for service.**Position: Imports Operations Specialist****Responsibilities/Main Activities**:- Coordinate and manage air and sea import shipments, aligning with internal processes and compliance standards.- Ensure operational results while safeguarding profitability, client relationships, and company processes.- Handle a monthly volume of operations exceeding 60, maintaining direct contact with international agents, airlines, commercial teams, and carriers.- Retain and develop clients through the implementation and meticulous follow-up of reports and processes to reduce operational risks.**Additional Job Duties**:- Coordinate all aspects of freight arrival, including rate quotations, billing, approval of vendor invoices, etc.- Engage in daily correspondence with overseas offices, demonstrating clear and effective communication skills.- Create, monitor, and close transactions within the company system, with a basic understanding of accounting.- Maintain courteous, prompt, and efficient customer relations.- Undertake other responsibilities and duties as assigned.**Soft Skills**:- **Accountability**: Demonstrate a high level of responsibility and ownership in executing tasks and achieving goals.- **Proactivity**: Anticipate challenges, prevent issues, and actively support the team in achieving collective success.- **Autonomy**: Thrive in a role with mínimal supervision, showcasing self-driven and independent work capabilities.- **Assertive Communication**: Communicate with clarity and effectiveness, emphasizing risk prevention and problem-solving.- **Sense of Urgency**: Respond promptly to the dynamic nature of import operations, ensuring timely and efficient outcomes.**Profile**:- 3 to 5 years of experience in import operations within Freight Forwarding.- Bilingual in English.- Familiarity with air and sea import processes.- Knowledge of customs procedures.- Desirable: Understanding of USA geography and culture.- xpd global is an equal opportunity employer.
