Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of HR Professionals, including managing workload, balancing priorities, and ensuring deliverables are on time and with quality in accordance with applicable laws and workplace policies.
  • Champion projects that support key HR & COE's objectives in function and country.
  • Partner with People Leaders in driving GM culture, promoting positive employee experiences, and improving employee engagement.
  • Provide development to People HR and Business HR partners.
  • Participate in HRM and Talent Forum discussions within HR Function.
  • Together with COE representation, ensure that local policies, procedures, legislations and regulations are administered appropriately in accordance with country and functional direction.
  • Cascade company-wide communications and announcements. Provide country-wide and regional communications on HR initiatives, process changes, and improvements that impact all employees.
  • Ensure appropriate support to the business in regard Human Capital Plans implementation.
  • Support enterprise-initiatives, including Talent Spotting, Workplace of Choice, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and compensation programs.
  • Support processes on employee life cycle from hire to exit.
  • Guide, support, and train People HR partners to deliver great Employee Experience.
  • Provide guidance on day-to-day issues for People and Business HR partners.
  • Function as escalation point of contact for uncommon or exceptional employee issues.
  • Partner with Legal and Government to maintain in-depth knowledge of employment requirements related to management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of Policies and Procedures
  • Knowledge of administration, labor relations, human relations, organizational development, economics.
  • Knowledge of local and national laws mainly in labor matters.
  • Knowledge in Emotional Intelligence and Organizational Psychology.

Experience/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree. Desirable in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Industrial Engineering or related career.
  • Master Degree desirable.
  • English: Fluent Oral and Written.
  • Desirable 10 years of experience in the areas of Labor Relations, Personnel Management, Management Operations, Engineering, Materials, Finance or Related.

This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis. A company vehicle will be provided for this role with successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review.
