Senior Project Technician

If managing a team, you will provide strong leadership, and technical direction and ensure team members continually train in Doka formwork systems and represent proper use of equipment to customers. You provide technical assistance to the sales department from the project design stage to project inception and completion.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Designs and plans technical solutions for projects utilizing Doka formwork systems;- Partners with customers, contractors, sales and operations departments while managing jobs from preliminary project planning stages to project completion;- Supports Account Manager by determining appropriate formwork solutions that meet the customer’s needs (economically, and in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines);- Works with sales to produce AutoCAD drawings during the proposal stage and finalizes working drawings for Doka forming systems and provides material lists for quotations and shipments to the site;- Produces and ensures drawings, indicating the proper use of Doka forming equipment and represent safe, economical, and efficient designs;- Adheres to policies, procedures, programs, standards of performance, and compliance;- Monitors conformance with contractual guidelines.- Visits job sites as required, identify any improper implementation, and takes action to ensure technical solutions are immediately applied.- Other duties/projects as assigned, such as participating in company committees/teams.INTERNAL NETWORKING:- Engineering - local and regional teams- Sales Department- Project Managers- OperationsEXTERNAL NETWORKING:- Customers**Qualifications**:**EDUCATION**:(required level to execute the job at a productive level)- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering**EXPERIENCE**:(required to be considered for this position)- 4-7 years of related experience in concrete forming and design required. Experience with Doka’s proprietary formwork system preferred- Experience with static calculations- Infrastructure/High-Rise experience required- Extensive technical knowledge with experience in project management.- Jobsite experience a plus**GENERAL COMPETENCIES**:- Integrity- Organized team player able to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.- Ability to work independently and collaborate across the boundaries- Learning agility and willingness- Analytical skills- Structured communication skills both in English and Spanish**OTHER KNOWLEDGE**:(other training and capabilities)- Good understanding of structural steelwork designing and formwork technologies.- Working knowledge of legal requirements in the field of engineering standards- Intermediate English- Advanced in AutoCAD 2D/3D- Intermediate in Revit- Intermediate in RSTAB (software for structural analysis)- Intermediate MS Office tools**Additional Information**:- Only applicants who fulfill the requirements will be considered for this recruitment process.
