Plans, organizes and delegates maintenance activities to his/her personnel in charge and is responsible for auditing maintenance systems (PM, CM and TPM compliance). Coordinates with the OUs and their maintenance partners the execution of the department's strategy, and is responsible for meeting the department's metric goals through this planning.- The maintenance and automation engineer is responsible for supervising the operation of machines and processes during production hours, as well as guiding and developing his/her personnel in solving equipment failures in order to avoid compromising production efficiency or damaging equipment, always in a safe manner. Is directly responsible for the equipment or processes assigned to him/her; in these equipment he/she must seek continuous improvement, develop maintenance programs, audit existing processes and carry out the process of purchasing spare parts and installing them in this equipment.- Is responsible for planning purchasing processes and strategies for cost reduction or energy savings.
