If you’re looking for a career where you can make a real impression, join GSC HSBC and discover how valued you’ll be.We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of**Model Services Analyst WPB****Role purpose**:As Model Services Analyst (“US Compliance”) provide advice, guidance, opinions, direction, and training related to the regulatory landscape to the First Line of Defence/business. They ensure the business complies with the letter and spirit of relevant regulations, thereby delivering fair outcomes for customers and embedding a robust risk management culture in HSBC’s business processes. This key risk management role has a broad remit and responsibilities, which include, but not limited to, analyzing key exception reports, performing compliance owned controls, tracking issue remediations, and monitoring control effectiveness.The role is to collaborate with the US Compliance function and support the overall compliance framework for HSBC’s WPB businesses. The role will act as a team extension for the US Compliance team.**Main activities**:- Run daily, monthly, and ad-hoc controls to escalation potential exceptions to US Compliance management.- Support initiatives to comply with regulations such as the alphabet regulations for Consumer: (B,CC, DD, Z, etc).- Support Wealth initiatives via a licensed employee.- Ensure delivery of processes operate in a well-defined control environment.- Ensure continuous review of processes with the objective of improving delivery timeframes, control environment and to identify areas of improvement for RC Operations.- Contribute to strategic planning & decisions in RC management meetings- Understand stakeholder needs and manage expectations.- Contribute to HSBCs values: We value difference; We succeed together; We take responsibility; We get it done.Requirements**Knowledge & Experience**- Independent accountability for achieving and driving results.- Solid practical understanding of Consumer banking (CRCM highly desirable)- Strong organization, time management and prioritization demand abilities.- Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills, combined with strong courageous integrity to challenge, ask the right questions, be persistent, give and receive feedback positively, collaborate effectively within own team, outside team and with business leads.- Fully proficient English language skills.- Orientation towards quality and efficiency.- You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC_At HSBC we offer our colleagues a greater number of days so that they can fully enjoy their wedding, take care of the new member of the family, or grieve the loss of a family member.
