LOCATION- Mexico City, Mexico- STARTING DATE- To be decided- CONTRACT TYPE- Local Contract- DEPARTMENT- Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)- WORKING HOURS- Full-time- REFERENCE CODE- 1004- What you can expect- What you can expect- What you can expect - text- Professionalization of operations and services in alignment with corporate expectations and recognized standards of best practices.- Maintain a prevention approach and strengthen the HSEQ area in risk assessment, decision-making skills, development of HSEQ systems, policies, protocols and procedures.- Design and implement a proactive and holistic culture that reduce HSEQ incidents.- Development an effective communication plan in order all personnel is always informed and aware of operational risks.- Generate synergy in the organization for proper crisis management, business continuity and risk assessment.- What we expect- What we expect- What we expect- B.S. in Engineering, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial.- Master's degree in Environmental preferred- At least 5 years’ experience in the E&P industry, federal authorities or independent consultants.- Proven experience in managing environmental permits and licenses.- Experience in Integrated Management Systems for Oil and Gas Industry.- More than 10 year of experience in the oil and gas industry (operations and HSEQ areas are mandatory.- Business fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.- Negotiation skills as well as high intercultural and social competence- Good technical understanding.- Proactive action as well as process- and target-oriented working method.- Enthusiastic, open and driven individual with strong HSEQ and leadership skills.- Have a professional in Environmental Matter who is able to develop and Implement the Environmental Management System for the Business Unit, along with and aligned to the MIMS (Mexico Integrated Management System) and IFC. Creating and monitoring the procedures and processes required to build an efficient execution in our operations.- To ensure compliance with local regulations of Government authorities.- Integrate to the Business Unit the corporate Functional Requirements- To be involved in the ESG (Environmental Social Governance) Strategy to develop the GHG emissions reduction plan for the Business Unit.- Responsible for the integral management of local and national permits that are required to be in compliance with environmental regulations applicable to the BU operations (PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, CONAGUA, ASEA, etc.).- Follow up of the requirements of the Government authorities and applicable legislation and regulations.- Support the different areas in environmental issues and permit management.- Develop a strong relationship with local and national authorities and independently manage the communications.- Definition and monitoring of Environmental KPI´s (KEPI)- Annual Plan to conduct environmental campaigns.- Create the mechanism to communicate the Environmental Strategy to all employees, contractors, stakeholders, partners, communities.- Ensure compliance with local and international standards- Support the continuous improvement of the HSEQ Management System according to corporate directives and ISO 45.001 and ISO 14.001 standards.- Environmental Impact Assessments- Identification of resources (NB1) to guarantee the compliance with the Environmental Management System.- Follow up on the corporate environmental strategy and requirements.- Collection, aggregation and analysis of environmental data of all assets in the Business Unit: e.g. GHG emissions, Water and electricity consumption, waste management.- Ensure and supervise the environmental data reporting in the database SoFi for all operated and non-operated assets.- Perform the Environmental and Sustainability assessment in Projects DG (Decision Gate) for operated and non/operated assets.- We offer- We offer- We offer (external)- Responsibility from day one in a challenging working environment- Networking and familiarization within the company- Work & life service which provides advice and supports in all matters affecting work, life, family and health- Global career opportunities and attractive remuneration packages- Wintershall Dea will immediately begin preparing you for future assignments by giving you challenging tasks, exciting projects and responsibility.
