-Job description**Role Summary**:**Key Responsibilities**:- Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support frequent and reliable software releases.- Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, etc.- Implement monitoring system performance, availability, and security- Collaborate with developers, architects, and security teams to implement cloud-native solutions.- Manage and automate operational tasks including backups, patching, and incident response.- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).- Continuously support to evaluate and improve the performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud solutions.Requirements**Education & Experience**:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.**Technical Skills**:- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Proficiency in scripting or programming.- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub CI, Jenkins, etc.).- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible,).- Understanding of cloud security best practices and networking concepts.**Soft Skills**:- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.- Effective communication and collaboration in cross-functional teams.- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Technical leadership- Teamwork and collaboration**Preferred Qualifications**:- Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Google Professional DevOps Engineer.- Experience with serverless architectures, event-driven systems, or service meshes.- Familiarity with DevSecOps practicesAt HSBC, we expect our people to treat each other with dignity and respect, creating an inclusive culture that promotes equal opportunity.
