Come be a part of this journey****BAT MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR AN EMPLOYEE RELATIONS MANAGER****SENIORITY LEVEL**:Managerial**FUNCTION**: Human Resources**LOCATION**:Monterrey**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**This role is part of the HR department.The role is responsible for managing and maintaining effective labor relations throughout Mexico. This position is based in Monterrey and requires a strategic and hands-on approach to oversee all labor agreements and foster positive relationships with unionized employees and their respective unions.**Reports to**:HR Director**Reporting Level**:Managerial**Geographic Scope**:Latin American & the Caribbean**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**- Review, analyse, and negotiate labour agreements to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with organizational objectives.- Develop and implement strategies for the effective management of labour agreements across the entire Mexico territory.- Design and execute an engagement agenda to enhance communication and collaboration between the organization and unionized employees.- Facilitate regular meetings with union representatives to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive working relationship.- Act as a mediator in labour disputes, facilitating resolution through effective communication and negotiation.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and legal counsel when necessary to address complex labour issues.- Work closely with the HR Area Director to develop and update labour relations policies and procedures in accordance with local labour laws and regulations.- Stay abreast of changes in labour laws and regulations in Mexico and ensure the organization's practices remain in compliance.- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with labour agreements and make recommendations for improvements.- Prepare and submit regular reports to the HR Area Director on labour relations activities, key performance indicators, and any emerging issues.- Collaborate with HR and other departments to develop training programs for managers and employees on labour relations topics.**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**- Are you an expert in labor relations matters?**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**- Advanced level of English - Written and Spoken- 5 to 6 years of working experience in labour relations.- Good knowledge of labour laws and regulations in Mexico.- Experience in counselling internal stakeholders.- Strategic thinking.- Communications skills.- Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent.**BENEFICIAL**- **Experience in a FMCG company.****WE ARE BAT**At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
