Wildix is the first 100% secure, easy-to-use, professional web-based UC&C system, recognized as a Niche Player by Gartner® Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service.Wildix is looking for a VoIP Support Engineer.**RESPONSIBILITIES**:- Serves as a key technical resource for Wildix partners in regard to support requests.- Performs direct support functions for Wildix partners via working open tickets.- Ensures good communication with partners about the status of open tickets and is responsible for managing their tickets from beginning to end.- Creates strong working relationships with the partners and as such, provides insight into partner needs/desires related to the Wildix product line and processes.- Supports local Wildix personnel with desktop, local network and other local office needs as required.- Serves as liaison to Wildix to ensure relevant customer/partner feedback on product and process improvements is considered.- Engages in working sessions with partners to resolve issues and ensures knowledge transfer during these working sessions to enable partners to grow their knowledge base on the Wildix product line.- Provides field engineer training to partner technicians as required.**EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS**:- Experience deploying and/or supporting VoIP network or systems required- IP Telephony and Unified Messaging (UM) preferred- VoIP call flow and RTP analysis capabilities- 1 - 2 Years of Experience in related role or technology- Experience with networking to include but not limited to routing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QOS, firewalls, etc- Experience with linux at least at a user level. Linux administration skills are a big plus**REQUIRED SKILLS**:- Knowledge of SIP/VoIP networks/systems- Knowledge of network technologies, OSI model, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, QOS- Understanding of linux OS with a minimum of user level skills (command line)- Knowledge of SQL / MySQL (configuration / support)- Knowledge of wireshark, tcpdump, ngrep tools**Travel**: Requires very limited travel**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
