Req ID: 76597 Description Skyworks is seeking a financial analyst responsible for supporting manufacturing and management. Activities include financial modeling associated with manufacturing (such as production variances, plant absorption, overhead activity rates, costing, spending, capital expansion, staffing changes, etc.), financial and management reporting, budget and planning process as well as supporting corporate finance initiatives. The senior principal financial analyst works closely with manufacturing and operational management, cost center managers, other BU Financial Analysts, as well as other functional controllers within the Finance organization. Responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements. Responsibilities Include Prepares timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial and operational reports for management and planning purposes Financial planning and analysis for the plant and the business unit to drive strategic plans, annual operating plans, and other business initiatives and programs Deliver inputs to update financial forecasts monthly and analyzes budget to actual fluctuations Develop financial models to support alternative business outcomes to complex business issues and offer financial recommendations to business management Manage and control plant spending (operating and capital), staffing, within budget guidelines Participate in corporate development of key processes and evaluation criteria associated with projects, programs, and people Act as a liaison to corporate finance staff in the annual budgeting process and other top-down requests to ensure that they are managed appropriately and effectively Support the finance organization in evaluating new financial policies and procedures and in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements and other corporate policies Requirements Required Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or other related area; MBA preferred Ten plus years of financial operating management experience with most of the experience centered on providing financial support to operating businesses Semiconductor experience a plus Advanced Excel and modeling skills and strong presentation skills a must Outstanding analytical skills and proven ability to connect data analysis with business issues and decisions Exceptional results orientation Self-starter with a high degree of personal initiative and cross‑functional leadership Experience with SAP or Hyperion preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact successfully with all management levels Excellent project management skills and attention to detail Skyworks is proud to be an equal opportunity employer supporting diversity in the workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr
