Job Description - Sr Cybersecurity Engineer + DevOps (008XZ4)Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a SR CYBERSECURITY AND DEVOPS ENGINEER in our APODACA, NUEVO LEON location.

What do you get to do in this position?
The Cybersecurity / DevOps Engineer specific duties will include development and test of firmware within a team of embedded design engineers; Collaboration with internal and external teams to maximize re-use of existing IP (intellectual property), features & functionality; Evaluation and integration of emerging frameworks and technologies in the IoT/Connected Devices space; Designing and developing the next generation of products connecting embedded devices to cloud based services.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product development teams to assess security implications of third-party integrations and service offerings.
- Develop and implement security best practices and guidelines for product development teams.
- Provide guidance and support during the design and implementation phases to ensure security requirements are met.
- Act as an expert facilitator on practices such as secure design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management.
- Conduct thorough security reviews of products against various compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
- Act as a point of contact for cybersecurity posture for a portfolio of offers.
- Work closely with compliance teams to address audit findings and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
- Assist in creating and maintaining product roadmaps that incorporate security and compliance considerations.
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity-related initiatives within the line of business.

This job might be for you if:
Cybersecurity experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on product security and compliance.
- Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Product and system cybersecurity architecture design and review experience.
- Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry compliance standards, such as IEC62443.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across remote and international teams.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH) are a plus.
DevOps experience is a plus such as:
- Experience in DevOps, SRE or Cloud Native Software Development.
- Hands-on experience with configuration and maintenance in Azure or AWS.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, containerization, and orchestration.
- Experience with development and operation of C/C++ based applications.
- Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub and Jenkins.
