**Solution Architect**Portfolio Architect is responsible for the architecture and design activities associated with one or more change portfolios, as well as ensuring solutions are aligned with the platform architecture and roadmap, HSBC group standards and policies and the overall enterprise architecture for GO&A IT**Main activities**:- Accountable for overall design & integrity of set of systems/apps to support specific large programmes or projects.- Accountability for ensuring solution designs reflect the needs of the enterprise and works closely with the Enterprise Architecture team, ensuring alignment with group architectural strategy, standards and policies.- Works with the Service Quality Manager and control functions to ensure that products and services are built to provide the required levels of availability, functional capability and non-functional capability, and systemic operational issues are addressed in the design lifecycle.- Responsible for creating platform roadmaps & ensuring cost effective, compliant and appropriate architectures are developed.- Ensure the solution designs created by solution architects are compliant with the platform architecture and roadmap.- Ensure design of products and services meet mandatory and regulatory compliance requirements- Accountable for ensuring that operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues etc) are addressed in the product architecture and fed into the backlog of change on an ongoing and regular basis.- Working with the Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, Solutions Architect and Technical Leads to turn overall business requirements into more detailed stories which are progressed by the teamsRequirements
