We provide consumer loans, and our mission is to make life easier by offering simple and personalized financial solutions to everyday Mexicans.Our organizational purpose is to build a better world through financial inclusion, and we see the role **KYC / AML **Risk Leader** **as being critical in shaping and persevering our organizational culture that is centred around our purpose.At IPF Digital we are committed to promoting strategies that help us maintain a balance between our personal and work lives, where each of our employees feels motivated and is reflected in business results.You'll join a highly engaged team ready to help you make your adaptation very easy and simple, and together achieve goals.**The role**Your purpose will be to ensure the healthy, sustainable, and profitable growth of our credit portfolio, while meeting our business plan and business objectives, by responsibly managing risks from our Merchants’ network of our purchase finance product in Creditea, as well as by stablishing a meaningful and value-generating relationships with each of our Merchants and Creditea’s Purchase Finance Team.**The responsibilities**As our Merchant Risk Assessment Leader, you will be responsible for:- Identifying, monitoring, and managing risks of Merchants’ network, both, during the onboarding of the new merchants and post-onboarding stages of cooperation.- Approving new Merchants into our network by performing deep and holistic risk assessments (KYC, AML, Fraud and Credit), by performing) to ensure we work with the right partners.- Monitoring and Reporting risks within our existent Merchant’s network to promote a healthy, sustainable, and profitable growth of our credit portfolio, determining and advising on continuing or not the cooperation with each Merchant.- Monitoring and reporting the performance of the purchase finance portfolio from Credit, Risk and Collections perspectives, both for Local and Hub stakeholders.- Conducting regular audits on active Merchants and the quality of consumer lending generated to enhance the knowledge about the best performing purchase categories of partners and to enrich the consumers’ financing credit strategies in relation to purchase finance channel.- Providing advice and insights to improve Credit origination process and Credit Risk Strategy for our purchase finance product, considering the performance the consumer lending generated by each Merchant, as well as from different purchase categories.- Building and strengthening the existing and non-existing processes and procedures for the sustainable growth of Creditea purchase finance acceptance network (Merchants).- Establishing meaningful and productive relationships with each of our Merchants and Creditea’s Purchase Finance Team, as it is expected from you to be the contact point with the rest of the team responsible for the Purchase finance channel.- Ensure Credit, Risk and Collections processes, policies and procedures for our purchase finance product are fully compliant with the applicable regulation and legislation to our activities.- Promote a continuous improvement and risk-oriented culture within Credit, Risk and Collections functions and promote it within Mexican Business, specially within Purchase Finance Team.- Promote and enhance innovation, automation and digitalization within Credit, Risk and Collection functions and processes for our purchase finance product to deliver and establish best-in-class processes and procedures.**So, what skills, knowledge, and experience do you have?**- Bacherlor’s / University in degree in STEM or Finance field or equivalent experience is a must.- Deep knowledge and relevant experience performing risk underwriting for SME, Enterprise, or Corporate banking, either from a credit risk or compliance perspective.- Proven knowledge and experience in credit risk, credit analytics, and portfolio management- Proven knowledge and experience in on-line / digital lending businesses, preferably in purchase finance / buy know pay later products.- Proven knowledge of digital financial services environment, preferably in banking or payments services.- Proven experience building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders from different functions and areas- Proven knowledge and experience in fraud management and fraud detection tools.- Exposure to working in an international business that works cross-culturally**Technical Skills**- Credit and portfolio monitoring and reporting.- SME, Enterprise, or Corporate banking credit underwriting.- Data analysis and statistical tools programming skills (preferably of at least one of the following SQL, Python or SAS).- Microsoft Office Suite management**Experience**- 3+ years of experience in SME, Enterprise, or corporate risk underwriting, either from a credit risk or compliance
