RDS’s support functions champion over 1,300 employees throughout Rabo AgriFinance and Rabobank North America Wholesale, companion Rabobank subsidiaries.**Job Overview/Purpose**:The main tasks and responsibilities of the Relationship Manager (RM) are to manage and develop client relationships with Food and Agribusiness (“F&A”) companies. More specifically, the RM represents Rabobank to new and existing corporate clients, and is fully responsible and accountable for client franchise income maximization, through the successful origination, structuring and execution (as deal captain) of complex transactions. The RM is furthermore responsible for risk monitoring and (if applicable) actively supporting the Bank’s Financial Restructuring Department in ongoing restructurings of his/her client portfolio and for maintaining an active dialogue with local and regional risk managers, and the Bank’s Credit Department in the US and the Netherlands. The RM will also coach Analysts and Associates in the performance of their tasks and responsibilities.**Context of Job**:From the Relationship Manager's perspective the role allows him/ her, amongst others, to:- develop deep account management skills and experience;- gain experience as deal captain in complex transactions;- (pro)actively participate on sector platforms and in other internal and external networks;- develop coaching and (project) management skills. The key relationships for the RM include: Product Specialists and Department Heads, Global and Regional Sector Heads, Debt Structuring Advisors, Credit Department (New York and Utrecht), Legal, Compliance, Rabobank Senior Management, RaboResearch Analysts and other banks. In addition, the RM is expected to have strong existing relationships with key decision makers (CEO/CFO/Shareholders) of clients and prospects in the relevant sector for that applicable wholesale office.**Job Requirements Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:- Origination: Opportunity/idea generation; Initial analysis; Opportunity/idea development/ pitchbook production; Pitching/presentations; Client Service Team representation- Structuring: Deep financial analysis and financial modelling; Scenario analysis; Deal structuring (pricing, covenant setting, etc.); Mandate documents negotiation; Due diligence coordination- Execution: Internal approval generation; Loan documents negotiation; Signing/closing/postclosing coordination; Syndication support;- Monitoring: Information processing/covenant checks; Credit reviews and waiver requests Client Coverage- Account Management: Relationship Account Planning; Client Service Team coordination; Prospecting; Client networking; CRM data management; Pipeline management- Origination: Opportunity/idea generation; Opportunity development/ pitchbook production; Pitching/presentations- Execution: Multi-product deal team coordination Other- Training: Enable junior staff to participate in client meetings and internal credit meetings- Portfolio Management: Exercising portfolio control; Maintaining dialogue with credit risk analyst, senior risk officer and various credit departments; Active portfolio management/financial resource planning- Networking: Building and maintaining a network within Rabobank; Building and maintaining a network among external advisors and banks; Building and maintaining a network in the Food and Ag industry, primarily in the relevant sector for that applicable wholesale office**Job Skills and Knowledge**:- Proven track record in wholesale banking- Proven track record in debt and credit structuring- Experience in relationship/account management- Experience in structuring and negotiating deals with clients- Experience in leading transactions- Experience of working with global and USbased Food & Agribusiness companies- Understanding of the dynamics in Food & Agribusiness/Agribusiness sector- Deep and wide product knowledge- Strong verbal and written communication- Fluent in English**Qualifications**:- At least 7 years of Client Coverage/RM experience in the Food & Ag sector, including selling traditional lending products, as well as cross selling more sophisticated corporate finance products- Bachelor’s Degree in related studies or equivalent work experience**We Offer**:With healthcare and insurance costs on the rise, Rabobank employees enjoy a
