Sr Internal Control Specialist

In this position you will play a role by being responsible to ensure that financial risks at LA local organizations are identified and mitigated through a solid internal control framework on a timely manner.Promote risk management culture in LA operations, handling different local, fiscal and legal implications.Provide guidelines within the processes; focus on the fulfillment of Corporate and Regional policies, internal procedures, statutory requirements and key controls.Reports to: Internal Control ManagerSupervises: 2Location of the role (Querétaro, Hybrid).**HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**- Conduct control environment assessments including Process and Procedures evaluations throughout the organizations to ensure an efficient control framework in order to prevent financial risks and frauds.- Performing Internal Control Assessments, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documenting processes and procedures.- Ensure the compliance of SOX legislation according to Corporate deliverables (MRL and Section 404).- Ensure compliance with Corporate and local reporting requirements.- Presents insights to decision makers in a correct, clear, concise, and confident manner.- Monitors the actions to ensure compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.- Follow up to ensure Remediation plans compliance.**YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS**- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business-Related field with previous accounting, auditing or other business related experience- SOX / Internal Control- English proficiency: fluent.- Leadership skill- Experience in risk analysis- Strong analytical and communication skills and be detail oriented.- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).**WHAT’S NEXT**This role takes part in **Locate for Your Day**, Kellogg’s hybrid way of working that empowers office-based employees to, in partnership with their managers, find a balance between working from home and the office.**ABOUT KELLOGG COMPANY**Kellogg Company is a multibillion-dollar company with over 30 thousand employees all over the globe.
