Cost Accountant

**Descripción**As a Costs Accountant you**will report to Costs LATAM Supervisor, the main function is to calculate and analyze the production costs of the products or services offered by us, to determine their profitability and efficiency.**Main Responsibilities**- Establish and maintain accurate accounting records for the plant.- Record financial transactions, such as revenues, expenses, and assets.- Ensure that data is correctly entered into the accounting system.- Verify and correct errors in preprocessors.- Determine and allocate costs to new products or items produced by the plant.- Perform cost analysis to evaluate profitability and efficiency.- Maintain production and operating cost records up to date.- Make adjustments according to changes in prices of raw materials or processes.- Make adjustments to inventory records to reflect actual changes (losses, damages, etc.).- Reconcile accounting records with physical inventory counts.- Reconcile Accounts, identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.- Prepare detailed reports on production and operating costs to provide relevant information for managerial decision making.- Create and distribute main financial reports, such as the income statement and balance sheet.
