-Job descriptionRole Summary:The Hybrid Integration Platform (HIP) Specialist role is responsible for leading activities related to middleware planning, design and development. This role develops and maintains specialist knowledge of middleware concepts, architectures, software and facilities. They also analyze requirements and evaluate potential solutions, installing and commissioning selected products. HIP Specialist have the responsability to automate manual activities providing self service solutions to developers following the DevOps best practices, maintaining all HSBC security standards having interaction with vendors and global engineering team. HIP Specialist, provide toubleshooting in production support, such as in proyects, finding root cause and performing a proactive participation.Principal Accountabilities:- Proven Experience on IBM WMQ over Mainframe mainly.- Knowledge of zOS basis (TSO, JCL, JES2, CICS & DB2)Major Challenges:- Good Technical skills to solve complex problems with the products.- Teamwork, communication, and coordination with several teams in MX and globally.- Constantly Working under pressure to deliver according to the business requirements.- Meet rough deadlines.- Good communication with local and global teams in English.Requirements- Working partial time in the Office and Home Office.- Schedule changes as per the business need it is necessary to work on weekends and nights depending on the maintenance windows for the products and due to incidents.- Responsible for Product Support, design and implementing new architectures and Business Projects.**Experience**:- Proven experience on mentioned technologies.- Proven experience on Design, implementation, and maintenance for mentioned technologies.- Security Control Implementations for WMQ.- Participation on complex technology projects related to Websphere MQ.- TLS Certificate implementations, Configuration and Security- Basic Knowledge in Telecom implementations: Network Load Balancer, Firewalls, DMZ.- English Skills.- Administration, Availability and Monitoring- Performance Tunning- Problem determination- Knowledge of zOS basis (TSO, JCL, JES2, CICS & DB2)Intermediate knowledge on Linux.Intermediate knowledge in scripting (bash).**Capabilities**:- Adaptability.- Communication skills in Spanish and English.- Creative thinking to solve problems.- Dependability.- Work ethic.- Teamwork.At HSBC, we expect our people to treat each other with dignity and respect, creating an inclusive culture that promotes equal opportunity.
