No Relocation Assistance Offered - San Jose Iturbide, Guanajuato, MexicoThe **Operations Team Leader** is the responsible to manage effectively the activities and personnel for a specific area, taking care of its development, business needs and serving Operations as the main customer, focused on Safety and Quality Standards.**Let’s talk about responsibilities**:**SAFETY**- Follow-up to Safety guidelines, risk identification and Near Miss/Accident Reports.- Ensure the appropriate certifications before performing a job.- Authorize and validate work permits.- Walkthroughs of Safe Conduct and Closing Safety Findings.**QUALITY**- Make sure the product is manufactured according to Quality Stds.- Investigate and document Quality Non conformances with the RCA Methodology.- Notify, report and attend the anomalies in the detected equipment.**PRODUCTIVITY**Supervise:- Ensures compliance with policies / procedures and activities of productivity standards.- Manage staff, materials, and equipment to meet performance targets.- Track and analyze equipment and product failures and defects due to equipment failure- Execute new technology in the operation.Lead:- Listen, develop and encourage innovation, growth and improvement in their work teams.- Identify, recommend and implement maintenance cost reduction programs.- Makes recommendations on capital and operating budgets.- Contributes to the development of plans and strategies and contingencies for any introduction.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.- 1-3 years of experience in a similar position for a manufacturing plant.- Intermediate English level.- Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Industrial hygiene.- Management of unionized personnel.**Desirable Technical Skills**:- Data Analytics Management.- Knowledge of continuous improvement.- Basic knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.- System management Applications & Products in Data ProcessingEqual Opportunity EmployerColgate is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, age, disability, marital status, veteran status (United States positions), or any other characteristic protected by law.Colgate-Palmolive is a leading global consumer products company, tightly focused on Oral Care, Personal Care, Home Care and Pet Nutrition.
