They will be supporting through manual and automated testing within a Salesforce environment. The SDET will work closely with the SalesForce Manager to implement testing in an agile development environment. They will also work alongside our SalesForce Product Manager to understand and verify requirements. They must be a thorough and proactive communicator, as they will be responsible for ensuring that all Salesforce changes shipped are of high quality and enable the company’s revenue-driving processes.**Main Activities**:Ensuring all automated tests run in our CI environment and investigating any feature regressionsProviding feature signoff before stakeholder acceptanceUnderstanding requirements of features that are being builtDesigning and implementing automated end-to-end feature testsIn limited cases when automated tests are not possible, designing and implementing manual tests**Basic requirements to do the job**:Web services (Service Oriented Architecture)Single Page Applications (SPAs)REST/SOAP APIsObject Oriented programming experience2 - 3+ years of experience as a SDET.Good interpersonal skills, and the ability to speak/write and communicate English language effectively.**Extensive experience in automated and manual verification of**:Salesforce workflows, triggers, and process builders, SOQL for CRUD operationsProven ability in designing and writing automated tests using most of the following:Understanding of the testing pyramid and when each type of test should be usedExperience in understanding Business Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications and Design Documents and converting them into Test ScenariosExperience working closely with Product Owners to ensure features are delivered to meet business and quality requirements and defects are appropriately escalated for resolutionJavaScript, Java, PHP or other object-oriented languageJest, TestNG, PHPUnit, or other testing frameworkAppium or other mobile testing frameworkJenkins or other automation server**Preferred Skills and Experience**:Basic experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptBasic experience operating in a Service Oriented ArchitectureBasic experience with agile development methodologyBasic understanding of common AWS products (S3, SQS, SNS).Experience with industries such as e-commerce, real estate, banking, or lead generationUnderstanding of test health metrics (code coverage, flakiness, etc)Understanding of basic DevOps concerns, such as integrating automation in continuous integration tools (CI/CD) and nightly test suite executionHere at Atos, we want all of our employees to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be who they are at work.
