Dedicated to sustainability and creating comfortable, healthier environments for our residential and commercial customers while reducing their carbon footprint, we lead the field in innovation with our cooling, heating, indoor air quality, and refrigeration systems.**Job Description**:The main propose of** Labor Relations Manager** is to facilitate positive and productive relationships between an organization's management and its employees or labor unions. This role is crucial in promoting a harmonious work environment and ensuring that the company complies with labor laws and regulations.**Responsibilities**:- Designs, plans, and implements human resources programs for a plant.- Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations, affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.- Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill operation vacant positions.- Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.- Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee, statistics for government reporting.- Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and prevention sexual harassment.- Advises management in appropriate, resolution of employee relations issues.- Manages the Collective Bargaining Agreement, prepares and participates in negotiations, and promotes a good relationship with the union.- Administers benefits programs such a disability insurance, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.- Investigates accidents and prepares internal reports or for any medical institution that will be required.- Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.- Prepares and manages budget for operations and services for company personnel, such as transportation, cafeteria, internal events, etc. Contracts with outside suppliers.- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.- Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover. Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.- Consults with business unit management in the strategic planning process and development of human resources strategies that support the unit's business needs.Qualifications:Significant experience in operations, manufacturing complex products through vertically integrated fabrication processes. Demonstrated, communication, interpersonal, presentation, coaching, collaboration and, organizational skills. Must have extensive experience resolving a range of employee relations problems. Advanced ability to encourage communication and resolve conflicts is essential. Must have excellent written and verbal skills. Must be able to advise subordinates in order to meet schedules and resolve problems.Solid analytical and process management skills. Has strong business acumen and able to define and understand the most critical issues.
