The Prod Ctrl Lead Analyst participates is a senior level position responsible for leading efforts that ensure the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to drive efforts to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.**Responsibilities**:- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Finance industry trends- Contribute to the directional strategy of the Finance function, anticipating the impact to daily work and the business- Evaluate and resolve complex issues and select the best action by weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs**Qualifications**:- 6-10 years of relevant experience- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication**Education**:- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience- Master’s degree preferredThis role will cover Profit and Loss as well as Balance Sheet reporting and analysis for Rates and Currencies LATAM. It will require strong communication skills and teamwork across multiple locations and departments.**Responsibilities**:- Oversight of the P&L commentary linking results with market movements- Oversight of accurate reporting of P&L by Legal Entity and Geography- Ensure reconciliation of P&L figures from product control report to the general ledger and management reports- Ensure adherence to Product Control policies and procedures- Coordinate with other regional teams to ensure accuracy of reported P&L and Balance Sheet- Coordinate with Front Office and Technology to drive improvements to infrastructure and reporting- Oversight of daily P&L reporting as well as balance sheet analysis and reporting- Represent Product Control on business forums and to multiple stakeholders**Requirements**:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate and present effectively to management of Finance, Business, and Audit.- Extensive experience across Product Control and Finance processes- Strong product knowledge, including securities and derivatives- A proven track record of coordinating and working in teams and an ability to influence initiatives to achieve the optimal outcome- Strong knowledge on products including securities and FX and interest rate derivatives- A control focused mind-set with strong capabilities for designing and implementing efficient processes with enhanced controls- **Job Family Group**:Finance- **Job Family**:Product Control- **Time Type**:Full time- Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.View the "**EEO is the Law**" poster.
