Since our founding in 1978 as one of the world’s first global biotechnology companies, Biogen has led innovative scientific research with the goal over the last decade to defeat devastating neurological diseases.**Job Description**:We are seeking Business Unit Manager with rare diseases experience to develop and implement consumer/caregiver strategies and tactics for rare diseases in Mexico. This role includes the full responsible of improvement of the affiliate set up, responsible of Named Patient program execution.- Influencing the overall strategy for the brand- Developing and implementing tactics to:- Educate the community about Rare disease- Increase awareness of SMA among consumer/caregiver- Ensure ongoing engagement and collaboration with the Field Operations team- Executing non-personal tactics (digital and print) to introduce Biogen to the appropriate HCP and Caregiver community- Execute Market access and pricing strategies (originally shared by the asset team) with the support of RDSE and Market access and PR agencies.**Qualifications**:- Minimum of 8 years of pharmaceutical or biotech product marketing/commercial experience required- 2 years in rare diseases required- Consumer marketing experience preferred- Experience with Compliance processes- Strong formal presentation development and delivery skills required- Experience managing external vendors and effective budget management- Collaborating proactively with both cross-functional partners and other colleagues in the assigned territory- Leads cross functionally the colleagues in his territory- Knowledge of conduct codes and Compliance trainings- Knowledge of relevant health care policy aspects, legal aspects and clinical studies
