Sr. Accountant

**Job description**:**Key Responsibilities****1. Financial Reporting & Compliance**- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of **monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements** in compliance with company policies and regulations.- Provide **timely financial reports** to HQ, ensuring they meet corporate deadlines.- Ensure compliance with **local tax regulations, financial standards, and company policies**.**2. General Ledger Management**- Maintain and reconcile **general ledger accounts** to ensure financial accuracy.- Ensure proper recording of **journal entries, accruals, and adjustments**.- Assist with the **month-end and year-end closing processes**.**3. Accounts Receivable**- Manage vendor and customer accounts, reconciling outstanding balances.- Address **discrepancies and resolve financial issues** related to AP/AR.**4. Budgeting & Cash Flow Management**- Assist in **budget preparation and financial forecasting**.- Monitor **cash flow**, ensuring financial stability and efficiency.- Identify opportunities for **cost control and financial optimization**.**6. Process Improvement & Efficiency**- Identify **opportunities to improve financial processes** and enhance reporting efficiency.- Collaborate with the Cost Accountant and other teams to streamline financial workflows.- Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with **Epicor ERP** systems.**Qualifications & Requirements****Education & Certifications**:- Bachelor's degree in accounting**, Finance, Business Administration**, or a related field.- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is a **plus**.**Experience**:- **5+ years** of experience in financial accounting, specifically in **automotive manufacturing**.- Strong knowledge of **financial reporting, compliance, and general accounting principles**.**Technical Skills**:- **Proficiency in ERP** for financial tracking and reporting, preferably **Epicor**.- Advanced skills in **Microsoft Excel** (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and **financial reporting tools**.- Knowledge of **local and international accounting regulations and tax compliance**.- Experience in **budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management**.- Proficient in English and Spanish.Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per monthApplication Question(s):- Do you have experience preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with tax regulations?- Are you familiar with national and international accounting standards?Work Location: In person
