Ensures conformance with all legislative, regulatory, and/or accreditation requirements. Coordinates trade compliance training programs and communications as necessary.- Analyzes import and export data to ensure compliance and procedures are being followed.- Responsible for ensuring proper documentation is created and available for Customs import or export clearance.- Maintains recordkeeping program for import and export transactions.- Performs assessments of Customs Brokers and communicates performance.- Supports cost study activities.- Determines Customs classifications and duty rates.- Supports Free Trade Agreement programs.- Leverage internal and external systems to help validate customs compliance information.- All other duties as assigned.**Required Skills and Education**According to Job Profile provided**About American Axle & Manufacturing**- As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM (NYSE: AXL) designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
