**Key Responsibilities**:- **Financial Reporting**:Prepare and analyze financial statements, with a focus on the unique reporting needs of SaaS companies.- **Closing Processes**: Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.- **General Ledger Management**: Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and detailed account analysis.- **Tax Compliance**:Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, payroll taxes, and other applicable taxes; prepare tax returns and ensure timely filings.- **Budgeting and Forecasting**:Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning.- **Audit Support**:Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.- **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting processes.- **Team Development**: Lead, mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.- **Cross-Department Collaboration**:Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational goals.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.- + 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role, with significant experience in financial reporting for SaaS companies.- Experience with US GAAP is an asset.- Strong knowledge of Mexican tax laws, including VAT, payroll taxes, and corporate tax regulations.- Proficiency in CONTPAQi accounting software.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Hands-on approach to financial processes and problem-solving.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Previous experience leading a Finance team.- Advanced English skills**Why PosiTrace?**- Competitive salary- Growth paths to higher-level leadership positions- HybridWe welcome all qualified applicants, prioritizing skill and character.Eager to make an impact with a dynamic sales team?
