Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a _- Process Engineer NPI´s (SMT - Back End) _- located_- in _- Guadalajara, North Campus_- ._- Reporting to the Process Manager, _- Process Engineer NPI´s (SMT - Back End)_- _- Responsible for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support NPI´s, PCB´s and final assembly manufacturing organization (Back End Operation)._What a typical day looks like:- _ Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability._- _ Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production._- _ Oversee new process equipment production._- _ Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters._- _ Trouble shoot process related issues._- _ Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements._- _ Evaluate and select various engineered materials._- _ Implement statistical process analysis on new and existing products._- _ Implement safety, productivity and yield improvements._- _ Improve manufacturing techniques and through put._- _ Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities._- _ Develop and maintain process documentation._- _ Review processing methods._- _ Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer._- _ Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer._- _ Provide equipment maintenance and repair support as required._- _ Lead cost_ improvement/reduction_ programs._- _ Process Engineering BTL complete before prototype or pilot run._- _ Develop and deliver information to Master spec file to release product to Customer and Receiving site_- _ Metrics and dashboard (RTY process Yield, RWK Yield, SPI cpk, Rework aging, % maintenance of tooling)_The experience we’re looking to add to our team:- _ Experience in electronics manufacturing industry_- _ BA/BS/ MBA or equivalent work experience_- _ Strong Knowledge in SMT - Back End (pallets, stencils, PTH, fixture, poka yoke, reflow ovens, wave soldering, selective solder, etc.)_- _ Fluent English._- _ Advanced experience in NPI´s._- _ Knowledge in statistical analysis & root cause analysis._- _ Advanced Excel_- _ Experience in Customer Service._What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:- Competitive Salary.- Life & Medical insurance.- Christmas Bonus.- Food Coupons.- Saving Fund.GM101Job CategoryProduction Engineering
