They will consult with the product team to **understand goals and objectives, and translate **them **into technical, functional requirements and design documents**. This will range from clarifying requirements from the product team, meeting with engineering to document design decisions, ensuring user stories in Jira are accurate and diagrammatically illustrating concepts (**using Lucid Chart**) and **validating QA test cases accurately** reflecting product requirements.In addition to responsibilities as a technical writer this position will a**ssist with project coordination and management** and be a central point of contact for developer interactions, including status updates, scheduling meetings, maintaining notes, **updating Jira**, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team member.**Activities and Responsibilities**- Partner with the Product team to document product features- Facilitate meetings with product team, engineering and business and communicate technical information in a natural and easy to understand language and format.- Generate internal and customer-requested documentation, including user guides, system requirements/details, business process descriptions, and support other general writing activities.- Perform the role of Project Manager as needed for daily stand-ups, updating tasks, and removing impediments for the team.- Take feature requirements to the development team to document technical architecture- Manage Jira projects to see the features through the development lifecycle- Coordinate with the QA team to **ensure test cases are accurately defined**- Provide Functional analyst of business systems when needed**Qualifications**- Attention to detail, and the ability to write clear, concise documentation for stakeholders is a must.- Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, and management audiences with broad and varied backgrounds.- A skilled, talented writer able to track, compose, and revise text for simultaneous projects.- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required.- Strong **business analysis skills** to clarify and to refine requirements or processes through a variety of techniques; seek to understand and challenge to create clarity and quality.- People management, project management and **leadership skills** highly desired.- Must be able to work independently and with a team in completing assigned work tasks to **deliver expected work products on time.**- Experience working with **software development and QA teams**- **Expertise using Jira**- Able to multi-task with strong time management and prioritization skills.- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.- Knowledge of **Salesforce, AWS, Testiny and Serverless technologies** a plus.- Must be very thorough, meticulous, and attentive to detail as appropriate for all work activities.- Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is an affirmative action employer who provides equal employment opportunities to minorities, females, veterans, and disabled individuals, as well as other protected groups._Pay: $100,000.00 - $105,000.00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- 11320, Ciudad de México, CDMX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**Education**:- Bachelor's (preferred)**Experience**:- leadership: 3 years (required)**Language**:- English (required)Work Location: In person
