Lm400: Accountant

**General job description**:Under general supervision performs the following activities:- Ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.- Ensures proper administration of local statutory reporting, tax accounting requirements, and the filing of tax returns on a timely basis.- Administers relationships with tax authorities, payroll service bureau, auditors, and other related agencies.- Ensures that internal control of accounting systems are in place and maintained in order to safeguard the company assets and avoid liabilities.- Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations of moderate complexity.- Prepares cash receipts, disbursement journals, and accruals monthly.- Prepares monthly cash flow forecasts and ensures that sufficient funds are always available to meet the company's liabilities.- Keeps Manager updated on accounting related activities by submitting required reports and keeping the Manager informed on issues and changes in related laws and regulations.- Prepares management information systems to aid in the control and development of the operation.- May be required to perform other duties as assigned**Minimum Requirements**:**Minimum Education**:- Bachelor's degree in accounting.- Proficiency in English (650 TOEIC points).- Local professional certification, if required.**Minimum Experience**:- Three (3) years accounting experience- Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles- Computer literate- Spreadsheet experience preferred**Minimum Required Skills**:- Excellent analytical, mathematical and communications skills (written/oral)Interesados adjuntar:CV ActualizadoCarta intenciónTOEIC con puntaje requeridoFedEx is widely acknowledged as a world-class company.
