Our management team has extensive experience with the architecture, development and implementation of advanced MES and manufacturing automation systems deployed across a broad range of vertical markets.**Job Purpose**As Product Manager, you are a key asset within the 42Q organization to contribute to the overall success of the business unit. You will team up with the people who make a product, those who use the product and those who manage the business to ensure that the product is meeting the client's needs. This includes improvement of existing products as well as development of new products, all driven by the idea of creating value for customers and driving revenue. You will build upon and further develop existing solution concepts, but you will also help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your communication with customers and prospects. Your unique blend of business acumen and technical savvy will enable you to develop project direction and vision, and to drive that vision to reality. You will work with your engineering counterparts to define product release requirements, as well as to help meet compliance requirements and to ensure product quality. You will work with marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them to understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. You will serve as the primary point of contact in projects, keeping stakeholders, developers, and other contributors engaged, organize meetings between parties as required, insure all project documentation is available, up to date, and the formal project processes (stage gates, reviews, documents, etc.) are adhered to.**Key responsibilities**- Manage the entire product line life cycle, from strategic planning to daily and tacticalactivities.- Drive the solution development (Development/Engineering, and Marketing) throughmarket requirements, product message and positioning.- Plans and directs project schedules.- Manages project budgets and costs.- Organizes activities ensuring completion of projects on schedule and within budgetconstraints with overall responsibility for the project success.**Further responsibilities**- Driving solutions across various teams (Analysis, Development, etc).- Assists with technical requirements gathering to insure solutions meet defined needs.- Insures that documentation / training material / data sheets and use cases are complete,concise, and available as part of project deliverables.- Contribute towards product strategy and vision.- Meet regularly with all stakeholders to ensure product direction matches market needsand organizational objectives.- Collect, analyze and respond to client/prospect feedback.**Education and Experience**- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and or software industries.- Strong experience in product management disciplines.- Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills, for customer-facing and event-basedengagements.- B.S.
