**Job Summary****Purpose**:- Direct material buyer will be responsible of obtaining material cost reductions through VAVE or P2P opportunities.- Work closely with cross functional teams to execute sourcing process considering category strategy, timeliness, and competitiveness.- Support strategic team to leverage buying power and optimize number of suppliers.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor’s degree- Fluent English**Experience, Knowledge, and Skills**- A minimum of 3 years in direct material purchasing.- Experience in purchasing raw materials from the following categories: Electrical & Electronics, Harness Coverings, Resins, Plastics and/or Metals.- Solid knowledge in benchmark activities, volume spend, resourcing, payment term improvements with designated suppliers and localization projects.- Strong experience in high level supplier negotiations, competitive quoting, and contract management.- Successful savings projects implementation.**Key activities and responsibilities**:- Identification and execution of savings opportunities through historical and projected material consumption.- Analysis of direct material spend.- Execution of quotations and negotiations according to category strategy.- Process on time requirements from plants.- Manage day to day activities and support cross functional teams.- Maintain purchase orders and costs.- Follow up invoice discrepancies.Please attach resume in English**Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSalario: $1.00 - $2.00 al mesHorario:- Turno de 8 horasPregunta(s) de postulación:- ¿Cuánto años de experiência tienes como comprador?Educación:- Licenciatura terminada (Deseable)Idioma:- inglés fluido (Deseable)
