Customers in over 150 countries look to our expertise in pricing, analytics and news to deliver greater transparency and efficiency to markets. The Agriculture & Food pricing team is a global team responsible for key pricing benchmarks across the world covering markets such as Grains, Oilseeds, Animal Feed, Proteins, and more.**The Impact**:This is an exciting opportunity to help drive S&P Global Commodity Insights Agriculture & Food price assessments across the AMERICAS region. The Associate Editor will be responsible for expanding the company’s market coverage into new protein markets (including pork, seafood, chicken, and beef) and driving our existing price assessments forward.**What’s in it for you**:Opportunities to represent S&P Global Commodity Insights at industry events, face-to-face meetings, presenting at conferences, webinars and podcasts to further develop S&P Global as a significant presence in the Agriculture & Food markets.Assist in identifying, developing, and executing new price assessment opportunities across the Agriculture & Food markets.**Responsibilities**:Leading market coverage on Agriculture & Food markets by reporting on daily physical trade activity including bids, offers and other relevant information on seafood, pork, chicken and beef, among other agricultural and food commodities.Building and managing our database of contacts, seek potential new sources to contribute to our assessment process and developing a close business relationship with market participants.Identifying opportunities to develop and refine methodology as well as helping launch new price assessments.Writing daily and weekly commentaries explaining the trends driving prices.Creating news stories and multi-media coverage.Work closely with relevant units across the organization such as commercial, analytics and news.**What We’re Looking For**:Experience of Agriculture & Food markets.Comfortable cold-calling and speaking with new business contacts with the goal of creating a lasting relationship of information sharing.Strong communication skills that demonstrate good listening, clear writing style, and strong verbal skills.
